Eight years, two terms, that's the watertight, constitutional deal for any US President. But Donald Trump has never been one for rules. He's openly flirted with the prospect of running for a third term in 2028 although he has conceded that the US constitution bars him from running again. That's unlikely to stop his supporters, from continuing to push the idea. So what would it actually take to secure a third presidential term and what barriers, other than the constitution, exist to prevent such a move?
